Happy Chinese New Year 2016

The Chinese New Year is celebrated based on the Chinese lunar calendar. Unlike in the western world where we celebrate the New Year based on the Gregorian calendar. In 2016, the Chinese New Year starts on February 8.

The Chinese traditionally celebrate their new year for 15 days ending it with the Lantern Festival where they make beautiful colored lanterns and eat sweet glutinous rice balls in sweet soup.
